82,000 civilian structures hit in Iran

New York [US], March 25: Attacks on Iran by US and Israeli forces have left more than 82,000 civilian structures damaged or destroyed, the Iranian Red Crescent Society reported on Tuesday. The damaged structures include 62,000 homes, 281 medical centres, hospitals and pharmacies, the head of the organization, Pirhossein Kolivand, said.
He added that 498 schools had been damaged by direct attacks or attacks in their vicinity and that his organization had also been targeted. Missiles had hit 17 rescue points and 12 rescue vehicles, Kolivand said.
He pointed to an incident in Lar in the south of the country. "Nothing at all was left of the ambulance while they were transporting injured people," he said in a video published by the Red Crescent Society. (DPa)
