Delhi police special cell busted international narcotic drug cartel

New Delhi, Oct 18 (ANI): A team of Delhi police Special Cell has busted an international narcotics cartel. Three key members of the cartel have been arrested during the intervening under the Barapullah flyover near Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. Twenty five kgs of heroin worth Rs. 100 crores in the International market recovered from the possession of the arrested trio. Specific information was received by special cell that three members of said cartel had collected big consignment of heroin from Assam. They have arrived in Delhi to supply the contraband to their contacts in national capital. On this information, a team was constituted and a trap was laid in particular area. Informer identified 3 of them and all of them were overpowered by the team. During interrogation, accused persons have disclosed that they are members of an International narcotic drug cartel and the recovered consignment of the heroin was procured by them from Assam.
