Rohit hits three sixes in a row

Nov 08, 2019

Dhaka (Bangaladesh) Nov 8: Interim India captain Rohit Sharma was in marauding mood while chasing a moderate target of 154 on a solid batting track in Rajkot.
The experienced India opener, who was playing his 100th T20I Thursday, attacked the Bangladesh bowlers from the very beginning and scored freely all over the park.
India were cruising when Rohit was batting with his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan.
India were 92 for no loss in nine overs when stand-in Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah brought in Mosaddek Hossain into the attack to break the partnership.
But Rohit was in great rhythm and the first three balls he faced against Mosaddek were smashed into the crowd for maximums.
The first one went over deep square leg, the second over deep mid wicket and the third over long on.
It was sheer hitting power from the interim skipper as he showed his class for the umpteenth time and once again proved why he is often called "hitman" for his powerful six-hitting abilities.
Rohit scored 85 off just 43 deliveries before getting out but he smashed five sixes in his innings, including three off the first three balls of the 10th over.
